Got a slam from the Big G!

May 4, 2012 15 Comments

Hey guys, hope you didn’t miss me too much because I haven’t abandoned my very own site! Why would you even think that?! However, I owe you an explanation as to why there’s not been a single new post since March. One of the main reason was because Google decided to let me go so to speak and off the grid because I was a newbie and didn’t really understand the whole concept of linking to inappropriate sites and not using the correct way to go about it. I honestly got a little discourage to see that I got hit with a Zero PR because of that but still had hope.

I almost had to let the site go because of work and marriage and I thought I wasn’t going to have any time for blogging. No time for blogging?? that’s crazy! yeah I know. Anyways, I’m back and more careful about what I do from now on and hope to keep you interested with the many new exciting posts that I know you’ll love.

Glad to hear you are sticking with it. Your readers would miss you. Don’t put too much thought into the big G. Blog because you like it.

Sorry to hear about your problems with Google, but it looks like you’re back to PR2 now. I can definitely relate to fighting the big G. They tend to shoot first and don’t bother asking questions later.

Don’t let PR bother you too much. You can still rank well and have loads of loyal readers without any PR. Ultimately it doesn’t really make any difference, unless you are selling links. Anyway, glad you are cracking on!

That really stinks about your PR! I hope you keep on blogging. Looking forward to new posts.

Sorry to hear about your shut down. Did they bother to mention why? Nevertheless, you’re back and steaming forward… the only thing you can do is get back on the horse right?

Thanks Jeremiah, all they said was I was going against the guideline regarding links and that I must fix it. I’m more confident now and looking forward to the future 😀

Sorry to hear what happened but glad to see you’re back! Write because you love it, not because big G likes your site.

Yeah, welcome to the ‘Slammed by Google’ club.
My main site got hammered for the same reasons however due to my previous business partner deciding to play SEO Expert 🙂

Still have lots of inorganic backlinks, despite current efforts to get rid of them. I persevere.

Good to see you’re sticking it out though.
