October and Mid-November Income Report 2011

November 16, 2011 20 Comments

It’s been more than a month since my last income report which you can see here, and I think my readers deserve a little peak at what’s been going on with this site as far as the its income, and my goals for the future. I don’t think it’s anything to brag about but I like to keep it transparent, and it sure is not something that will make me quit my day job anytime soon.

October Revenue:

  • Advertising: $136.75
  • Advertising so far in November: $47.40
  • Other: $95

Total: $279.15 (Ka-Ching!)

Future Goals:

  • Alexa: Under 100K (126K as of writing this) Was 235K when writing the last report.
  • Income: $300
  • Pagerank: 3 Maybe? Was at 0 when writing the last report.
  • Still trying to submit to more carnivals

Ahhh.. yes, finally! 🙂 That’s great work! From what everyone says, it is usually the 6-9 month mark that income starts coming in. BTW, I absolutely love the new landing page/design. Huge improvement.

Great job with both the income and Alexa shift! Sounds like you’re on the right track and who knows – another year or two on this same trajectory and you may be able to quit your day job.
